Believing in Ability
Graduating from training wheels is a major milestone for any child. In Michael’s case it’s even more significant. According to a recent study, less than 20% of children with autism will ever learn how to ride a bike. But the McCarton team believed in Michael’s ability, and after months of practicing in the McCarton School gym under the instruction of his occupational therapist, Michael beat those odds and has a smile to prove it.
Your support is an endorsement of our shared belief in the tremendous ability possessed by children with autism. It fuels our mission to prove these important milestones can be reached regardless of the odds.
