Carly was born in Southport, England 20th August 1986.
Aged three, she was diagnosed as being on the Autistic Spectrum & aged six,
she began performing in school shows, singing & acting, something which she enjoyed immensely, as she comes alive, she has perfect pitch and performs rather than mimics, although she doesn’t like to practice!!
She has appeared/achieved the following:
• 2007 – performed in “The Spectrum” – a specially commissioned piece detailing struggles of ASD community
• 2010 – Appeared on BBC3’s “Autistic Superstars”
• 2010 – Ambassador for “Autism Radio UK”
• 2011 – Appeared at “The Genius of Autism”
• 2011 – Performed on a charity CD
• 2011 – Presented with UK “Positive Action” award
• 2012 – Appeared at “Autisms Got Talent”
• 2012 – Released debut CD, “At Last”
She has appeared in many benefits helping raise huge sums of money for the organisations concerned, and is always in demand.
