Incredible ability exists within the disability of autism. With paint, pianos, and poetry, young people across the spectrum—some of whom struggle to communicate verbally—are making profound statements through art. The McCarton Foundation’s annual Genius of Autism is an opportunity to honor the extraordinary accomplishments of young artists on the spectrum, share their exceptional talent with the public through live performances and exhibits of their work, and inspire young people with autism around the world at participating autism schools and centers.
